Mount hardware for each sign is specified in the message schedule “METHOD” column

Vertical brackets on each side of sign attach to curved surface.

X Post(s) in Ground - Post(s) in ground mount. Posts and concrete to extend to local frost-line. Fabricator to detail mounting in shop drawings.
A Pressure Sensitive Tape - For smooth, hard surfaces.
Not recommended for some vinyl wall coverings.
Supplement with clear silicone on wall-covering or irregular surfaces. Sign not to exceed 100 square inches.
B Magnetic - For steel surfaces. Sign not to exceed 100 square inches.
C Hook and Loop - For fabric surfaces. Sign not to exceed 100 square inches.
D Screw - For rough surfaces such as brick or drywall.
Recommended for wall-mounted signs exceeding 100 square inches.
E Pin - For fabric surfaces, including fabric on hard material and acoustic panels. Sign not to exceed 100 square inches.
F Hook - For workstation panels. Clear bracket hooks over panel top; sign is suspended 2” down. Specify panel manufacturer, model and thickness.
G Freestanding Perpendicular - For freestanding applications such as desks. Extruded aluminum bracket. Standard 2-sided sign sits perpendicular to work surface; maximum recommended sign height is 4”.
GL Freestanding Angle - For freestanding applications such as desks. One-sided sign is mounted to “ ” bracket at a 60 angle.

H Panel Top - For top surface of furniture panel. Bracket is extruded aluminum affixed to panel top with pressure-sensitive tape. 8” maximum sign height.

Connects with 2” extruded aluminum brackets. Sign should not exceed 1,440 square inches and 150 lbs.

J Cable Attachment - Braided stainless steel cable for high or irregular ceilings. Attach cables to/around rafters, beams, duct work, piping, etc. Sign should not exceed 1,440 square inches and 150 lbs. Installer to determine and provide appropriate cable and fasteners.
K Perpendicular “Blade” - For mounting 2-sided overhead “blade” signs to wall. Sign is mounted perpendicular to wall.
Not available for signs wider than 15”.
L Glass - For backside of glass windows, doors or walls.
Clear acrylic bracket affixes to glass with clear pressure-sensitive tape.
M Ceiling Bracket - For general-purpose ceiling mount applications. Extruded aluminum bracket affixes to ceiling with screws. Sign should not exceed 1,440 square inches and 150 lbs. Installer to determine and provide appropriate fasteners and anchors.
N Rigid Posts to Ceiling - For general-purpose ceiling mount applications. Black 0.5” diameter aluminum rod suspends sign 6”, 12”, 18”, 24” from ceiling. Sign should not exceed 1,440 square inches and 150 lbs. Installer to determine and provide appropriate fasteners and anchors.

Where a tactile sign is provided at a door, the sign shall be located alongside the door at the latch side, 4.5” from edge of .
Where a tactile sign is provided at double doors with one active leaf, the sign shall be located on the inactive leaf, 4.5” from edge of active door.
Where a tactile sign is provided at double doors with two active leafs, the sign shall be located on wall to the right of the right hand door, 4.5” from edge of .
Where there is no wall space at the latch side of a single door or at the right side of double doors, signs shall be located on the nearest adjacent wall, 3” from corner (adjust as needed).
Signs containing tactile characters shall be located so that a clear floor space of 18 inches minimum by 18 inches minimum, centered on the tactile characters, is provided beyond the arc of any door swing between the closed position and 45 degree open position.

Tactile characters on signs shall be located 48 inches (1220 mm) minimum above the finish floor or ground surface, measured from the baseline of the lowest tactile character and 60 inches (1525 mm) maximum above the finish floor or ground surface, measured from the baseline of the highest tactile character.
