ADDENDUM NO.2 FFE Inc.
to Specifications and Drawings for Renovation of Building 47 for AMO VBA Project No: VB3226 9500 Bay Pines Blvd. Bay Pines, FL June 07, 2019 for Combined Contract
NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS: The following Specifications and Drawings for the above referenced project are hereby revised as follows:
Sheet MH1.02-1
1) Change VAV-22 tag to VAV-21 to match New RTU-N-2 Single Duct Air Terminal Unit Schedule on MH6.05.
2) Space humidity sensor shown as serving (E)VAV-20 shall be eliminated from (E)VAV-20 and moved to serve (E)VAV-5. See tagged sensors.
3) Add space humidity sensors adjacent to temperature sensors as shown serving the following existing (E) VAV terminal units: (E)VAV-6, (E)VAV-16, (E)VAV-17. See tagged sensors.
4) Change the last sentence of drawing note 2 to the following: Mount temperature and humidity sensors at 70 inches above finished floor where required to avoid cubicle panels in Open Office areas, otherwise mount sensors at 48 inches above finished floor.
Sheet MH1.03-1
1) Eliminate space humidity sensors serving VAV-5, 10, 18, and 19. See tagged sensors.
2) Space humidity sensor shown as serving VAV-19 shall be eliminated and moved to serve VAV-
16. See tagged sensors.
3) Drawing note 6 pointing to Pump 302 shall be changed to point to Elec 306 because VFDS will be located in Elec 306.
4) Because VFDs will be located in Elec 306 instead of Tel 305, change supply duct and air device arrangement so Elect 306 is served with 860 cfm and Tel 306 is served with 295 cfm.
5) Change the last sentence of drawing note 3 to the following: Mount temperature and humidity sensors at 70 inches above finished floor where required to avoid cubicle panels in Open Office areas, otherwise mount sensors at 48 inches above finished floor.
Sheet MH1.03-2
1) Modify return air duct sections and add duct mounted humidity sensors in return air duct as shown on updated sheet serving rooms served by VAV-3, 12, and 15.
2) Add a drawing note 11 that says the following: Provide a duct mounted humidity sensor in return duct.
3) Because VFDs will be located in Elec 306 instead of Tel 305, change return duct and air device arrangement so Elect 306 is served with 850 cfm and Tel 306 is served with 285 cfm.
Sheet MH6.01
1) Sequence of control, section 4. Occupied Mode, C) Cooling Discharge Air Temperature Control
Loop, 1.: Change cooling discharge air temperature setpoint to 50°F, (Adjustable).
2) Sequence of control, section 4. Occupied Mode, D) Dehumidification Control Loop, 1.: Change space temperature setpoint to 75°F, (Adjustable).
Sheet MH6.04
1) Update chilled water cooling coil schedule for RTU-N-2 so EAT conditions are 76.6°F db; 66°F wb (58% RH) (based on “peak dew point” outdoor air condition of 84.9°F db; 78.4°F DP; 147.5 HR), and LAT conditions are 51°F db; 50.2°F wb, with Total Capacity of 751 MBH and Sensible Capacity of 474 MBH (SHR = 0.63), a chilled water flow of 125 gpm (Chilled water EWT = 44°F;
LWT = 56°F so 12°F delta), and a max coil water pressure drop of 2.32 feet and max coil air pressure drop of 0.842 inches with max face velocity of 420 ft/min.
2) Update chilled water cooling coil schedule for RTU-N-4 so EAT conditions are 78.7°F db; 68.5°F wb (60% RH) (based on “peak wet bulb” outdoor air condition of 87.9°F db; 80.4°F wb), and LAT conditions are 52°F db; 51°F wb, with Total Capacity of 443 MBH and Sensible Capacity of 240 MBH (SHR = 0.54), a chilled water flow of 74 gpm, and a max coil water pressure drop of 4.49 feet and max coil air pressure drop of 0.779 inches with max face velocity of 437 ft/min.
Sheet MH6.05
1) Update RTU Schedule since there is some repeated information like cooling capacities and entering air temperature conditions that need to be updated to match on both the RTU Chilled Water Coil Schedule on MH6.04 and the RTU Schedule on MH6.05.
Specification 23 74 13-11, 2.1, C, 7. Access Doors
1) Delete sentence that says, “Doors shall be a minimum of 600 mm (24 inches) wide, unless shown of different size on drawings, and shall be the full casing height up to a maximum of 1850 mm (6 feet).” Replace with, “Doors shall be sized to ensure adequate access for maintenance of the equipment.”
