VISN 07544B12028Q: Does this obligation include a Tade-In? If so, please can you please provide the system specifications (ie, make, model, serial number)Yes for trade-in / demolition. Existing system is a Philips Skylight gamma camera system, S/N: K06030067. First installed 4/12/2006
VISN 08546B10017Q: Please confirm the types of cardiac studies you will be performing (ie, calcium scoring, CCTA, etc)

Added Value, e. Lithium batteries. Question: please provide an explanation for “lithium batteries” or remove this line as it is not applicable to the computed tomography system requested in the obligation.

4. Advanced applications Question: Since existing AW Server with thin client will be used on VA computer, will you require that all vendors quote new post-processing software licenses for the advanced applications listed (CT Fluoroscopy, CT Perfusion, CT Cardiac, Lung CAD, CT Colonoscopy)? Types of studies that will be performed are CCTA, Coronary Disease, Calcium Score, TAVR, Atrial Appendage, Prospective and Retrospective studies.

Removed Lithium batteries line.

4. Answer; Depending on the vendor selected.

VISN 19554B100011.Per specification line 1A under technical requirements, please modify the minimum detector size to 30 cm x 30 cm to allow for competition.
2.Per specification line 20 under technical requirements, please modify the minimum range to start at 100 degrees to allow for competition.
3.Per specification line 26 under technical requirements, please modify the range to 645-880 lbs to allow for competition.
4.Per specification line 28 under technical requirements, please modify the range to Minimum matrix pixels 1280 pixels x 1024 to maximum 1548x1524 pixels to allow for competition.1. Current specification provides more coverage and numerous c-arms meet spec.

2. Current spec provides needed flexibility in operating field and numerous c-arms meet spec.

3. Lighter weight increases mobilities in smaller operating space and numerous c-arms meet spec.

4. Current minimum matrix size provides necessary resolution and numerous c-arms meet spec.

VISN 02561B10008Is there a trade-in for this obligation number and if so, what is the model, serial number and probe types being traded in?Yes, GE LOGIQ P5 SN 2615SU2
VISN 02561B10008Is Windows 10 a requirement for the operating system upon delivery?A supported operating system is required.
VISN 02561B10008What is the intended clinical use for this system?Intended use – Prostate biopsies and lesion visualization in Surgical Service Urology Section
VISN 02561B10008Is the power assist functionality to help with quick access to system use or to be used as battery powered operation?Quick Access to system. Functionality allows for moving the system without a complete system shutdown and boot up power cycle.
VISN 02561B100151.Is this for an “in room conventional RF system” (with spot film device) or a “remote RF system”?
a.If this is a remote room, all manufactures have a fixed detector in the table and the VA is asking for a wireless table detector.
2.Regarding the DR panel configuration,, please answer these questions
a.How many DR panels are you requesting?
b.What size DR panel do you want in the wallstand
c.If this is a remote system you are requesting,, if so,, our system comes with 17x17 fixed DR panel in the table
d.Do you want a wireless DR panel?
i.If so, I assume 14x17 size,, correct?
3.1f. – should that be “what is the maximum patient table load capacity”?
a.No vendor has a minimum weight capacity of 700 lbs.

4. 1p. Minimum SID range [in] "40 – 72 – are you referring to the radiographic tube to wallstand or the Fluoro tower to table SID?

5.1t. – are you referring to a Fluoro Minimum Imaging Tower field of view [in] 4 x 4?
a.I do not believe any vendor offers a 4 x 4 Fluoro size.

6. 2cc. - Ability to capture live video,,, are you referring to a 3rd party video capture system i.e. TIMS or are you looking for an inherent video functionality like “cine loop”

7.2n. – please clarify “Removable lead curtains with counterweights for when curtains are not in use”.
a.Are you referring to a mobile shield? If this is a remote room system, no vendor has removable lead curtains. Lead curtains are for the Fluoro spot film device.

8. 2pp. – you are asking for removable table detector but all vendor’s remote systems come with a fixed table detector. Are you referring to a wireless detector for tabletop and stretcher work?

9. 2rr. – how many batteries do you want in total? Our wireless DR panel comes with 2 batteries standard.

10. 2w. – what is “automatic tube crane, protocol-based movement”?

11. 2z. - can you clarify what the “Quality control tracking package” is?

12. Do you want a compression cone built into the system? 1. Remote RF System

a. VANJ is asking for a wireless detector in addition to a fixed table detector. There are manufacturers in the marketplace that have wireless detectors.

2. a. 2 DR panels

b. Minimum 14 x 17

c. This is not a question.

d. Yes

i. Yes

3. 1f. Yes, Tech Specs is adjusted. The maximum weight capacity is now 700 lbs. There is no minimum weight capacity.

4. 1p. Referring to the radiographic tube to wall stand.

5. 1t. Updated Tech specs to be optional for Minimum Imaging Tower FOV

6. 2cc. Inherent video functionality like “cine loop”

7. 2n. Tech Specs have been updated

a. Not all procedures will be done exclusively remote. There is a requirement for lead shields.

8. 2pp. Yes

9. 2rr. Minimum of 2 batteries

10. 2w. Pre-programmed undulation, automatic positioning based on preset protocols

11. 2z. Tracks repeat analysis which is a requirement

12. This is not a requirement

VISN 02561B10015a.We need more information about the trade-in: does it have an existing wireless detector, KW, monitor suspension, WS, etc.?
b.There seems to be an inconsistency between the tech specs and the compliance matrix. We can’t determine if the customer wants remote or nearby. For configuration they have floor mount or overhead. This would be for a RAD room, not the RF which is the request here. So as you read more into the RFO…it does make mention of the to Removable lead curtains with counter weights for when curtains are not in use -- which would be a nearby room. But in the excel, it makes reference to config as an overhead tube but also further down makes the same mention of the lead curtains which would never be on a remote system. Please clarify the requirement.a. Trade in has all except WS.

b. The requirement for the system is to have remote functionality but still include lead acrylic shield on ceiling suspension for all procedures. Not all procedures will be done remotely.

1f - To ensure maximum competition, please change to 130cm 1h - Please remove specification; given most, if not all, vendors have detector charging mechanisms either on the cart, within the detector bins, or via external chargers, battery life without recharge is not a necessary spec.
