2.0 LOCATION:

Disassembly located at Beal Lake Conservation Area (BLCA), Topock, Arizona. 34.774713, -114.526917

Reassembly located at Havasu National Wildlife Refuge (HNWR) river launch site, Topock, Arizona. 34.786866, -114.564361

Figure 1: The current dredge location at BLCA identified in green where it will be disassembled and loaded on to government trucks. The dredge will be hauled to and reassembled at the HNWR location identified in red.

3.0 SCOPE:

The contractor shall provide crane, crane operator, rigging, rigger, lift supervisor, and incidental services necessary to safely and satisfactorily load the three components of the dredge: the center section and two side cans on to government owned trucks and offload at the river launch site located at the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge directly across from the HNWR maintenance yard.

3.1 The Yuma Dredge consist of three major components (center section tank and two side tanks), and multiple subcomponents (ladder, spuds, control house, anchor booms). The center section tank is approximately 58 feet long, 10 feet wide and 95,000 lbs. and will require the use of at least one spreader bar to lift. The two side cans are 58 feet long, 10 feet wide and weigh 25,000 pounds per side can. See Lifting and Handling Guidelines (attached).

3.2 The Contractor shall provide experienced, qualified, and professional personnel to perform the most economic and efficient manner under the requirement.

3.3 The Contractor shall load and offload all three pieces: the center section tank and two side cans to/from government owned and operated trucks and place the pieces at the reassembly location.

4.0 DELIVERABLES:

The contractor shall be responsible for loading and unloading the following dredge components:

4.1 Center Tank of Dredge: Lift center tank of dredge and place onto truck for transport to site for reassembly. Contractor will then need to set up the crane at the assembly site and off load the center tank of dredge. This will include a crane, crane operator, rigger, rigging, and lift supervisor.

4.2 Two Side Cans: Individually lift port and starboard side cans of dredge and place on to government truck for transport to site for reassembly. Contractor will then need to set up the crane at the assembly site and off load both side cans of the dredge. This will include a crane, crane operator, rigger, rigging, and lift supervisor.

4.3 The contractor shall furnish all equipment, personnel, materials, supplies, incidentals, etc. required to successfully complete the tasks identified in this section.
