About this file

This is a Respondent Proposal Introduction and Solution Approach document submitted in response to an RFP issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) on behalf of the General Services Department (GSD) for park improvements at Patton Memorial Park. The project involves the John Lee Griffis (JLG) Path Construction funded through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Trust Fund. The scope of work requires qualified respondents to provide technical and professional services to deliver comprehensive park improvements over a two-year contract term. The RFP solicits proposals addressing the design, planning, and execution of park enhancement projects, with respondents expected to demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and detailed solution approaches for delivering the required improvements at the specified location.

The document serves as the framework for respondents to present their proposed methodology, technical approach, team qualifications, and implementation strategy for the Patton Park improvements project. Respondents must address how they will manage project execution, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines. The project is funded through the MDNR Trust Fund, which restricts eligible work to activities that align with natural resource improvement objectives. Respondents should demonstrate understanding of the funding source requirements, environmental considerations, and any specific compliance or reporting obligations associated with Trust Fund-supported projects.
