About this file

This file contains the Exhibit B Price Schedule instructions and template for Connecticut's Science Educational Materials Supplies and Equipment solicitation (26PSX0177), a rebid of the prior solicitation 26PSX0128 administered by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Procurement division. Bidders must complete the Excel-based Exhibit B Price Schedule with all required fields, including contractor name, catalog information, item details, manufacturer information, product descriptions, units of measure, pricing, and delivery timeframes. The schedule requires bidders to identify the specific catalog name and date/edition used as the basis for submitted prices and to include only products that fall within the scope of the solicitation. Bidders must also identify any items requiring special shipping due to being live organisms, hazardous materials, refrigerated items, or temperature-sensitive materials, though no dollar amount should be entered for special shipping charges. Scanned or PDF versions of the price schedule will not be accepted; only the completed Excel template will be evaluated.

Contract pricing shall remain firm for twelve months following the effective date. After the initial year, contractors may request one price adjustment annually during the thirty-day period immediately preceding each annual anniversary date, limited to changes in manufacturers' published catalogs or price lists. Price adjustment requests must include supporting documentation and a revised Exhibit B reflecting updated pricing. DAS Procurement retains sole discretion to approve, negotiate, or reject adjustment requests in whole or in part, with approved adjustments taking effect no sooner than ten calendar days after approval. All special shipping charges are limited to the contractor's actual documented costs incurred at shipment with no markup, handling fees, administrative fees, or profit permitted. All other shipping costs must be included in the net price on a freight prepaid and delivered (FOB Destination) basis.

26PSX0177
Price Adjustments
1. Prices listed in Exhibit B- Price Schedule shall remain firm for twelve (12) months following the Effective Date. The Contractor may submit a written request for a price adjustment only during the thirty (30) days immediately preceding the annual anniversary dates of the Effective Date during the Term.
2. After the first year, the Contractor may request one price adjustment annually. Price adjustments shall be limited to changes in the manufactuer's published catalogs or price lists upon which the Contract pricing is based. Any request for a price adjustment must be submitted in writing and shall include supporting documentation, including the manufactuer's updated catalog, price list, or written notice of the price change. The Contractor shall submit an updated Exhibit B reflecting the revised catalog pricing and resulting Contract prices.
3. DAS Procurement reserves the sole right to approve, negotiate, or reject any price adjustment request, in whole or in part, at its discretion. Approved adjustments may result in either an increase or decrease to the Contract pricing.
4. All requests for price adjustments must be submitted directly to DAS Procurement and in accordance with the Contract Notice Section. Requests sent to a Client Agency are invalid, and will be treated as if no request was made, and will not extend the 30‑day submission window. If a Contractor does not submit a timely request, the Contractor’s right to request a price adjustment for that year will lapse, and the current pricing will remain in effect for the next twelve (12) months until the next eligible price adjustment period.
5. If DAS approves a price adjustment, it will take effect no sooner than ten (10) calendar days after the approval date. The Contractor shall honor all Purchase Orders issued before the effective date of an approved price adjustment and at the prices in effect when those Purchase Orders were issued.
