The project involves supplying a FANUC 0i-TF Plus Controller, Analog Servo Controls, Servo Motors, Spindle System, Operator Pendant, and a new Electrical Enclosure. The vendor will be responsible for shipping new equipment to a government rebuild facility, where the machine will be rebuilt to OEM standards, tested, disassembled, and shipped to the end user's facility for final reassembly and acceptance testing.
Key technical specifications include a FANUC CNC control with extensive grinding software options, multiple axis configurations, linear scales, and a remote pendant with emergency stop functionality. The system must meet precise accuracy tolerances of ±0.0002 inches and comply with various NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA standards. The project involves two-stage installation: initial integration at DLA Aviation in Mechanicsburg, PA, followed by final installation at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, FL. The vendor must also provide comprehensive training for operators and maintenance personnel, including classroom and hands-on instruction over multiple days.
