About this file

This document is Amendment Number One to Request for Proposal (RFP) 26-12 issued by the Saint Mary's County Health Department in Maryland on March 24, 2026, for a Youth Mentoring Program. The RFP seeks qualified youth mentoring organizations to support youth development through structured mentoring programs that encourage personal growth, academic achievement, and social skill development. The amendment addresses a clarification regarding volunteer recruitment and training requirements outlined on page 7 of the original RFP technical proposals section. Specifically, the amendment confirms that proposers must provide a plan for recruitment and training of volunteers as detailed in the RFP, though organizations that can demonstrate a stable list of applicable volunteers or staff may submit this existing roster in lieu of a recruitment plan. The amendment notes that this clarification did not result in an extension to the submission deadline.

No additional pricing terms, set-asides, funding amounts, or other financial details are provided in this amendment document. The amendment serves solely as a clarification to the technical proposal requirements and does not modify the original solicitation timeline or other contractual terms. Interested organizations should refer to the original RFP 26-12 for complete information regarding submission deadlines, evaluation criteria, award dates, contract term, and renewal options.
