William Green Building Level 2 Board Room Upgrades A/V Scope of Work

This project includes the purchase and installa on of new A/V equipment, and the replacement of ceiling-mounted speakers. This project is for the Board Room on Level 2 in the William Green Building, located at 30 W. Spring Street, Columbus, OH 43215.

Work Limita ons The BWC Board of Directors meet in this room two days out of the month, and the State Board of Educa on meets in this room one day out of the month. This project must be completed prior to the next scheduled mee ng. Contractor has un l no later than Wednesday, June 25th to install a complete and usable system. If scheduling concerns arise during construc on, contact the project coordinator.

Work can be done during normal business hours unless work will interfere with other floors or the BWC business func on. Work to start no earlier than 7am. Any work that needs to be completed during non-business hours shall be made known to the project coordinator in advance.

Contractor will receive a contractor badge that must be returned to the security desk at the end of the project. Freight elevators are available for use within the building. Restrooms can be accessed on Level 2.

The room will be unoccupied during the dura on of the project. All other areas of Level 2 will be open for BWC and public use. Work shall be done in a manner that causes as li le interference with BWC business, and with a minimal amount of noise. Maintain all means of egress for the dura on of the project.

General Project Notes

1. Contractor should visit job site prior to commencing work to verify measurements and exis ng condi ons. Any discrepancies between drawn and built condi ons should be made known to the project coordinator.

2. Disposal of any demoli on and construc on debris is the responsibility of contractor.

3. Any exis ng condi ons that are damaged during construc on are the responsibility of the contractor to repair. Report any issues to the BWC Project Coordinator.

4. Contractor must maintain a clean and usable area at comple on of each workday.

5. Coordina on with BWC Facili es required for delivery of materials and installa on dates.

6. Trucks larger than a box truck will not be able to access the BWC dock for deliveries.

7. BWC will coordinate dock and floor access for contractors.

8. Submit any subs tu on requests to BWC Facili es for approval.

9. Refer to “Rules and Regula ons for Contracted Service Personnel” for addi onal guidelines.

A/V Scope Details Purchase and install (2) 75” LG Monitors and (2) 65” LG Monitors. Blocking in walls to be completed by others. Contractor to purchase and install (4) monitor mounts and install all necessary electrical. Contractor shall conceal electrical behind monitor in a manner that does not affect mount installa on. Reference the drawing set.

All A/V equipment is to be fed from the sound booth at the entrance of the room. BWC to provide an HDMI spli er for set-up. Contractor is responsible for installing new HDMI cables to each monitor. Re-use of exis ng HDMI cables in ceiling from removed projectors may be possible, contractor to confirm prior to beginning work.

Includes replacing ceiling-mounted speakers with new 2x2 le speaker. A total of (8) speakers are to be replaced and (2) speakers are to be disconnected en rely. Contractor to replace ceiling le at loca ons where a speaker is removed, coordinate with BWC Facili es for available stock. If applicable, contractor shall re-use exis ng wiring. Any unused wires are to be pulled back to the nearest junc on box by contractor.

SYSTEM 19 is a complete, UL Listed, 2-way, shallow depth, lightweight, 2' x 2' ceiling tile replacement loudspeaker system consisting of an 6 ½" O.D. woofer, 1" dome tweeter, and a 20W, 70V, rotary select transformer with an 8 Ohm position.

The molded fiber enclosure is 1,283 CID. The SYSTEM 19 has a powder coated steel baffle with standard perforation and four (4) seismic tie-off points. The cable clamp is included.
