Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid.
The 45th Contracting Squadron, Cape Canaveral SFS, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252122B0001 being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued.
This IFB is being set aside for 100% Total Small Business concerns; all others will be deemed non responsive. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation.
Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the website at www.Beta.SAM.Gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Brief description of work: Construction project no. DBEH 20-1521. Provide all materials, products and skilled labor to repair and stabilize 1,800 feet of ocean shoreline located along Complex 46 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), FL. Provide the government a complete and usable facility access point in accordance with the Project Drawings and Specifications at CCSFS, FL.
Period of Performance: 180 Calendar days (does not include 30 non-access days), to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Size Standard: $39.5 M
Magnitude of Construction: IAW FAR 36.204(f): Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000
Additional Information: The applicable NAICS code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The acquisition will be a competitive total small business set-aside. The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at http://www.sam.gov
The IFB is expected to be available on or about 10 March 2022.
This project will have a Pre-Bid site visit. The site visit time and date will be estabilished in the solicitation.
Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award.
