About this file

This is a Bid Questions and Answers Addendum document issued by Portage North Middle School for a Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) procurement project. The addendum, issued on December 10, 2018, clarifies bidding procedures and specifications for the Request for Quotation. The project is organized into eight separate bid packages, and bidders may elect to respond to individual packages rather than the entire RFP; however, partial responses within a package will not be accepted, and bidders must submit complete bids for each package they choose to pursue. The district will accept proposed alternates to the specifications provided they meet quality, functionality, and aesthetics standards. Physical samples of any proposed alternate furniture pieces are required for district review, with a submission deadline of end of business on December 19th.

The addendum does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, or funding sources. No information regarding award dates, site visits, or bidders' conferences is included in this document. The focus of the addendum is limited to clarifying bidding requirements and the alternate submission process to ensure transparency and consistency in the procurement evaluation.
