With regard to the Statement of Work, C.3, j) on P.12 of 78 states the following:
“Certification/recertification to include all labor and materials required. This includes battery and capacitor replacement as required.” The need for replacement of batteries and/or capacitors will not be known until after the recertification of each system, so should separate CLINs be priced for each system to individually replace batteries and capacitors if needed?
See updated pricing CLIN sheet page. Yearly Maintenance (As Needed) Not to Exceed (NTE) $5,000 per year.
9) With regard to the Statement of Work, C.3, l) on P.13 of 77 states the following: “Provide 7x24 coverage. All Parts and Labor included.” Please note that the “All Parts” language does have a caveat… OEM industry standard for “All Parts and Labor” does exclude the replacement of Batteries and Capacitors, as these items are consumable, wear items.
Replacement Batteries and Capacitors are excluded from the OEM replacement requirement however replacement units must match or exceed the specifications of the OEM units.
