This is Amendment #1 to a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a Flight Type Dishwasher Dish Machine System (solicitation number 2026-UWMSN-01106-RFB) located in Madison, Wisconsin. The amendment addresses proposer questions, revises delivery and installation requirements, clarifies technical specifications regarding the movement of the dish machine, and updates the itemized bid list. The primary delivery and installation location is Gordon Dining & Event Center (770 W Dayton Street, Madison, WI 53715), with a standard height dock available. The University of Wisconsin-Madison will provide rough-in utility work including water, steam, plumbing, electrical, and venting connections, with contractors responsible for completing all final connections to the dish machine. All delivery, uncrating, packaging disposal, setup, installation, freight, insurance, instruction, and operation manuals are included in the bid price, excluding import/export costs. The contractor bears delivery and risk of loss and must demonstrate the unit in operating condition and obtain University approval. The dish machine may be delivered in sections suitable for safe handling and freight elevator transport to Carson's Market. If construction delays prevent movement by early August 2026, the unit may be stored at Dejope Hall (640 Elm Drive, Madison, WI 53706) until reassembly during winter break. All debris must be removed from University premises by the contractor. Questions regarding the bid should be directed to Trisha Wilson at tawilson2@wisc.edu.
