About this file
This document is a Market Survey from DLA Land Warren seeking industry input on a potential diesel engine procurement. The survey targets a specific diesel engine with NSN 2815-01-568-0408, part number 12414398-018, with a base quantity of 55 units and an option for an additional 55 units (total potential quantity of 110 units) for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), 2.5 Ton platform. The market survey requests vendors to confirm part number validity, commercial availability, potential proposal submission, estimated delivery timeframes, and production capacity. Interested parties are advised that this is a pre-solicitation Sources Sought Notice requiring qualification testing, and source approval does not guarantee future business. Vendors must have an active Joint Certification Program registration to access the Technical Data Package, and qualification is necessary to compete on future solicitations.
