The comprehensive renovation project includes complete interior renovation of the existing library, involving major mechanical systems, structural modifications, extensive wall and floor plan revisions, plumbing and electrical upgrades, and new architectural finishes, as well as a building addition and site reconstruction. Selective demolition is currently underway and expected to be completed by the end of May 2025, with the remaining work scheduled to begin in early July 2025 and conclude in September 2026. Bids for multiple work categories are due on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, with staggered bid times ranging from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 19th at 10:00 AM at the GRCC Applied Technology Center.
