About this file

This document is a sole source justification for a contract award to provide on-site support services for STRAX, Hiperwall, and audio/video systems at a Veterans Affairs medical center. Lexicon Enterprises will provide preventative maintenance, repairs, software updates, and technical support over a one-year base period and four one-year options with a total estimated value of $1,245,600. Lexicon is the only authorized provider for the specialized systems they originally designed and installed. The agency conducted market research and posted notices from December 2020 to January 2021 but determined no other qualified sources were available due to Lexicon's exclusive credentials and authorization. The contract was awarded sole source to Lexicon on February 25, 2021 under authority allowing for restricted competition when only one source can meet requirements.
