SITE VISIT INFORMATION– Mandatory Requirement USBP Tucson Access Control System

1. A site visit is mandatory in order for prospective vendors to take the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other pertinent information that will allow for the development of a proper quotation. Vendors submitting a quotation without attending the site visit will not be considered for award (i.e., will receive a non-responsive rating for quotation).

2. Pursuant to the solicitation a site visit period is scheduled for the following date:

September 3, 2019 – 9:00 AM MST (Local time)

3. Location to Meet:

USBP Tucson Sector Headquarters 2430 S. Swan Rd.

Tucson, AZ 85711

4. RSVPs for attending the site visit must be submitted and confirmed with the Contracting Office Point of Contact (POC) below via email only and not later than Friday, August 30, 2019 @ 1:00 PM MST:

Clearly indicate in the email subject line “Site Visit Attendees for PR # 20113203 – USBP Tucson Access Control System”

5. Arrival Instructions:

Confirmed attendees must report to the southernmost gate aka the Main Entrance Gate on Swan Rd. by 8:45 MST (Local time). After arriving at the gate, confirmed attendees must then call (520) 514-4660 and state they are present to meet Patrick Moore at Building 1 for the access control project site visit. Consequently, confirmed attendees will then report to building 1 (building with the flagpoles) and the confirmed attendees will convene in the lobby.

6. The USBP designated Point of Contact will meet all site visit attendees. Proper identification is required for the site visit (Drivers License, State ID, etc.).

7. The site visit coordinator will escort attendees and allow for measurements and any other pertinent questions related to the Statement of Work.

8. Offerors must plan to attend during the time period set aside for the site visit. Appointments outside the specified time-frame will not be permitted.

9. In the case of technical difficulties with email, contact Contract Specialist Benjamin Dorgan at (520) 407-2808.

11. While this site visit is mandatory, please be advised that reimbursement for travel, per diem, and all other costs associated with submitting a quotation and/or attending the site visit will not be considered.
