About this file
This document is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) regarding a Notice of Intended Decision to Enter into a Single Source Contract for Professional Development Training. FSDB intends to continue utilizing the SOI Service Company to train its elementary teachers and specialists on the SOI (Structure of Intellect) and IPP (Integrated Practice Protocol) program and needs to renew existing licenses. The program consists of training in assessments of learning ability, materials that develop learning abilities, and screening in perceptual abilities to provide professional development to teachers in grades K-5. The estimated dollar amount not-to-exceed is $3,400.00, and the intended source is Meeker & Maxwell d/b/a SOI Systems based in Springfield, Oregon.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that SOI Service Company, LLC has been designated by SOI Systems, Inc. as the only provider of SOI/IPP training and consulting services for schools in the United States. The Director of Purchasing, Kim Whitwam, has approved this intended single source procurement. All questions should be submitted via email to the Contract Administrator, Dennis MacRae, or the Director of Purchasing, Kim Whitwam.
