The amendment's purpose is to respond to official questions submitted via email pertaining to the solicitation. The contracting officer is Carol Johnson (19SA70), and the requisition number is PR1 5986684. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged except as clarified herein.

The Questions and Answers address technical specifications for installing an additional electrical power utility service from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). Key technical requirements include: existing system voltage is 110V 1P/220V 3P; additional load requirement of 100 kVA at 220V 3P with total proposed load of 260 amperes; cable installation using rigid steel conduits or non-perforated metal cable ducts with 4-core copper cable plus ground (4C + G) complying with NEC standards; ATS rating of 200 amperes; and cable specifications determined by load and distance per the Statement of Work (SOW). The project must be completed within 45 days from Notice to Proceed, with extensions granted only if SEC processing delays occur without contractor negligence. Work must comply with mid-day summer work bans in Saudi Arabia. No as-built drawings or pre-designed packages are available; the winning bidder must prepare all required documentation for SEC application with supporting documents provided by the USG. Canopy for the diesel generator and the 3,000-liter diesel tank are excluded from scope.
