The purpose of this amendment is to update the NAICS Code from 423990 to 339999 and answer the questions below:
1. Attachment A lists CLIN 002 as QTY 320,000 EA while Attachment B lists CLIN 002 as QTY 32,000 EA. Can the US Government please clarify which quantity is correct for CLIN 002?
32,000 is the correct quantity. Please see the revised pricing matrix attached.
1. Can the US Government please provide a range for the mass of the projectile such as 6-8 grains / .39 grams - .49 grams?
7-8 grains is acceptable.
1. Will the US Government accept a +/- 15% variance on the ballistic data of CLIN 002 and 007 (Attachment A 2.2 and 7.2)?
A +/- 15% ballistic variance in the performance parameters is not acceptable.
1. Can the US Government please provide a breakdown of quantities regarding colors of marking cartridges (CLIN 002 and 007)?
The Government will accept any quantity of the requested colors: red, blue or white.
1. As written currently, CLIN 008 Sig Sauer MMR conversion kit requested is not compatible with CLIN 007, color marking cartridges in 5.56mm. If the End User requires ammunition to be used by CLIN 008, can the USG please add a CLIN for ammunition specific to the Sig Sauer MMR Conversion Kit?
The Government is aware that CLIN 008 is not compatible with CLIN 007. No additional items needed.
1. As long as equipment required under this solicitation is "Controlled use equipment" in Ukraine, will US Department of State be able to provide "End-user Statement" to the winning company?
Yes, the Government can provide the end-user statement, if the vendor provides the template.
