About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB 180-25) issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for highway lighting materials, dated October 10, 2024. The solicitation is specifically designed to establish a term contract for common Solid-State (LED) highway lighting and replacement parts used by highway maintenance agencies across Ohio's twelve districts and central office.
The contract will be effective for 18 months, from the Date of Award through May 30, 2026, with multiple award groups covering various highway lighting components. These groups include Misc. Lighting Hardware, Transformer Bases and Hardware, LED Luminaires (Conventional, Underpass, High and Low Mast, Urban-Area), Precast Light Pole Foundations, Mechanical Wire Connections, and other related items. The procurement allows for both low-bid and multiple-award approaches depending on the group. Vendors must meet specific qualifications, including having products listed on ODOT's Qualified Products List (QPL), providing new and first-quality materials, and offering warranties of at least 12 months. Minimum order requirements are set at $500.00 FOB, with credit card payments required for orders $2,500 or less, and delivery expected within 60 calendar days of purchase order notification.
