About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the Virginia state procurement authority for sweeper broom attachments. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to supply sweeper broom attachments to meet the state's operational needs. The IFB specifies the required specifications and performance standards for the broom attachments, which are essential maintenance equipment for state facilities and operations. Interested bidders are required to submit sealed bids by the specified due date, with evaluation conducted on a competitive basis. The document outlines the submission requirements, including technical specifications, pricing formats, and documentation necessary for bid consideration. Award of contract will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated bid price, subject to the state's right to accept or reject any and all bids.
The IFB establishes pricing on a unit cost basis for the sweeper broom attachments, with bidders required to provide firm pricing for the initial contract term and any renewal periods. The procurement does not indicate specific set-aside provisions, though Virginia's small business and minority-owned business procurement preferences may apply pursuant to state policy. Funding for this procurement is provided through the state's operational budget allocated for maintenance supplies and equipment. Bidders must provide evidence of their ability to supply the specified attachments within the required delivery timeframe and demonstrate compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements. The contract will establish the terms of supply, delivery schedules, and any performance obligations necessary to ensure continuous availability of these essential maintenance items to state operations.
