Aggregate Pricing (Base Year + All Options): $________________________

2.1 Pricing Methodology

The quantity of services to be provided by the Contractor is estimated. These estimates are not a representation to a quoter or contractor that the estimated quantities will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting requirements will remain stable or normal. Contract pricing shall include all charges to the Government for providing the services required by this solicitation.

Pursuant to FAR 17.203(b), the Government’s evaluation shall be inclusive of options. The Government will evaluate quotes for award purposes by adding the total price of all options to the total price of the base year requirement. Pursuant to FAR 17.203(d), the quoters may offer varying prices for options, depending on the quantities actually ordered and the dates when ordered.

2.2 Statement of Work

Introduction The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award of an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices for the provision of furnishing landfill/disposal services to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Place of Performance The contractor’s place of performance will be a *Type I Disposal Facility approved by the Texas Department of Health, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local codes and laws, and must meet all EPA requirements and standards. ''TYPE I DISPOSAL FACILITY": Refers to a sanitary "lined" landfill which services a municipal, institutional, and/or rural population, and is used or to be used for disposal of domestic waste, commercial waste, institutional waste, municipal waste, demolition/construction waste, discarded automobile tires, and dead animals.

The disposal/transfer site shall be within a 60 mile round trip radius (30 miles one-way) from the FMC. The physical address for the FMC is 3150 Horton Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76119.

Schedule The contractor will ensure that the transfer site is made available to the Government Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding State and Federal holidays. The Government will make several weekly trips to the disposal/transfer site and the Government will be responsible for transporting the solid waste to the disposal/transfer site.

Description of Services The contractor will furnish the landfill/disposal location site. The FMC will transfer solid waste (compacted and non-compacted) to the disposal/transfer site. Upon delivery, the contractor will be responsible and become the sole owner of all trash, garbage, and debris from the Government owned containers once uploading at the transfer site is complete. It will then be the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of the material in a lawful and proper manner.

The Contractor will be required to provide the Government with weight (tonnage) tickets at the time of unloading at the transfer site for each delivery. The Government estimates the delivery 210 tons per month (2,520 per year) of solid waste. However, there is no guarantee regarding the estimated tonnage, as quantities will vary on a per delivery, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Inmate Management The Contractor will not be responsible of the management of inmates.

Special Qualifications The contractor will be required to provide the Contracting Officer with a copy of their solid waste standard permit number for a state approved sanitary "lined" landfill and maintain current Local, State, and Federal licenses required to transport and dispose of solid waste
