About this file

This amendment modifies a solicitation for painting and coating a water tower. The federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking bids to paint both the interior and exterior of a 750,000 gallon water tower at the Forrest City Low Federal Correctional Complex in Forrest City, Arkansas. Bids are due by June 29, 2020 and the contract term is 180 days from notice to proceed. Interested vendors must meet insurance requirements and ensure that any subcontractors pass necessary background checks. The pre-bid meeting minutes and questions and answers document address containment procedures, presence of lead-based paint, tower dimensions, and clarify that only cleaning and painting services are required, with repair work requiring additional approval.
