Solicitation Questions & Answers

1. What Electric is needed for the Power Pack? 208 3 phase or 460 3-phase?

a. 3-Phase, 460-volt AC

2. Would you like the Dual Doghouse with the lacking mechanisms and what color would you like us to paint it?

a. Doghouse should have one door.

b. Color does not matter.

3. Would you like to have the guide rails and stoppers (quick disconnects on both sides of the box)?

a. Do not need the rails or stoppers. Only one quick connect for hoses located on the left side looking at the compactor.

4. Please explain the DOJ-02 Pre-Approval of Subcontractors clause.

a. This is meant to discourage vendors from adding subcontractors to a contract after a contract has been established and/or disclosing proprietary agency information to them. This solicitation is a one-time Purchase Order type contract for commercially available products, therefore this section is not applicable to this solicitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove individual sections of Clauses from solicitations.
