About this file

This is an event document related to Montana's Physical Security Systems contract opportunity, which seeks proposals to create a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for security door systems. The document outlines the key details and requirements for interested vendors participating in this procurement initiative. Bidders are expected to meet specific technical and operational standards to qualify for inclusion on the QVL, which will streamline future procurement processes for security door system installations and upgrades across Montana state agencies and potentially participating local jurisdictions.

The event document establishes the framework for vendor evaluation and qualification criteria necessary for listing on the security door systems QVL. Vendors must demonstrate their capability to supply, install, and maintain security door systems that meet Montana's specifications and performance standards. The QVL development process will facilitate more efficient procurement by pre-qualifying vendors and reducing the evaluation burden for individual purchasing requests, while ensuring that only qualified, vetted providers can participate in future security door system contracts.
