2. Pump: Do you know the overall (approximate) weight of the pump when fully assembled? This is needed for transportation concerns and determining the proper crane for pulling and reinstalling the equipment.

We were unable to find any documentation giving the weight of the pump. Only the weight of the motor is known.

1. Weight of motor: 20,600 lbs.

2. Weight of Pump: Estimated to be less than the motor.

3. Weight of pump and motor when fully assembled: Estimated to be less than 41,200 pounds.

3. Electrical connections: Will Bureau of Reclamation provide an electrician/personnel for reconnecting the electrical leads, RTD’s, etc. during reinstallation? I see note about BOR personnel disconnecting these for pulling the equipment, but the reinstallation is unclear about responsibility for this work.

Yes, Reclamation will complete all electrical, RTD, and vibration monitoring re-connections.

The SOW will be revised to address this more clearly.

4. Piping/flange connections: Is contractor required to provide field service personnel to disconnect pump flanges from piping for pulling the pump and for reconnecting during reinstallation? Statement of Work is unclear on this.

Yes, the contractor is responsible for all disconnecting of the pump and motor except Electrical, RTD’s, and vibration monitoring. The SOW will be revised to address this more clearly.

5. Due date extension: Is it possible to extend due date by one week? This is a large, complicated project that was just released to SAM.gov on 1/12 with incomplete information (no Statement of Work and equipment information were available on SAM.gov). I was just supplied the

Statement of Work and equipment information today and three days is not much time to put together the necessary pricing for a job of this size.

Reclamation will extend the solicitation one week.
