How many SF of the parking area is to be removed?
The existing parking lot surface is gravel. None of the existing surface area will be removed. This project consists of the installation of a new Hot Mix Asphalt Surface see Specifications Section 01 10 00 Part 1 Item 1.2B

The drawings are showing 4 solar lights for this project. Drawing C09 has technical specifications for the CIGS solar panel wrap. Please provide contact information for the CIGS rep or their website address.
CIGS stand for Copper Indium Gallium Selenide which is a variety of thin-film module as a main semiconductor material for the absorber layer for a solar panel. There are several companies that provide this product. One of them is SolarPath Sun Solutions (1-888-333-7652, 201-490- 4499) www.solarpathusa.com. Or

If the park will keep the stop wheels?
Yes, the park will remove all the stop wheels before the contractor starts demolition.

Have the fire crews removed the trees for this project?
Yes, the fire crews have taken care of all the trees to be removed for this project. In other words, this project has no trees to be removed.

Should we pave the gravel spot by the picnic area?
No. Keep a gravel surface in the picnic area.
6.
The takeoff numbers on Sheet C03-B are incorrect?
The numbers are short for 14711 square feet of area.
The numbers on Sheet C03-B are correct. Another row have been added to clarify the quantities. Total area is (14,712 Square Feet), Total amount of HMA surface (2,452 Cubic Feet), Total amounts Base Binder (3,678 Cubic Feet) Compacted Base Aggregate No 53 (3,678 Cubic Feet), Compacted Aggregate No. 73 (908 Cubic Feet)

Is grouting of parking stops required? Called out on C09-D
Yes, follow provided detail.

Thermoplastic pavement marking or Standard Lot Marking paint? Called out on C07-C
All Pavement Markings and stripping shall be thermoplastic.
9.
Per Section 6.2 B of the Project Specifications Document: Allow 60 days before starting pavement marking?
Use 14 days for Thermoplastic.

Is there a vendor the NPS recommends for the large wooden Park sign called out on C11?
