SUBJECT: Responses to Contractor Questions following Site visit for Correct Deficiencies at Ft Raleigh and Frisco Water Plants

The following questions were cut and pasted from an e-mail received on 13 August following the site visit to the Ft Raleigh Water Plant. The answers are included below each question in blue font and italicized.

1) The cleaning and painting of the 3,000 Gallon Pressure was not mentioned in the SOW.

Mr Pendelton was hoping for this portion of work to be included in the quote as the exterior was in poor condition.

ANSWER: The scope of work does include cleaning of the 3,000 gallon pressurization tank, but not painting. The scope will remain as is with no changes.

2) A request was made for the as-built drawings of the tanks in order to pull the total height and surface of both holding tanks.

ANSWER: Attached are archived files of the original construction of the tanks found during research.

These are not as-built drawings, but information may be useful to show materials and age of the tanks.
