Amendment 0001, Q&A 140P5122Q0066

· Would NPS prefer that the interviews conducted be in-person or virtual? This applies to interviews identified with the SOW on p. 22.

Answer: for interviews, we don't have a preference for in-person or virtual meetings. I think this can be left up to the contractor and preference for the interviewee

· While we are budgeting for a site visit, can follow-up consultation with park staff be virtual?

Answer: virtual follow ups will be fine

· For other NPS publications, there is usually an expectation for the number of graphics per page. Is there an expectation for the historic furnishing plan?

Answer: regional standards for graphics per page, so I'll leave that to the contractor to make the best judgement

· Is there a preferred program for generating the drawings for the furnishing plan? What (if any) file formats will be provided to the contractor?

Answer: no preferences here as long as the final deliverables are in the format specified by the SOW.

· For our reference, does MEMY hold the original crime scene photographs for reference or are these still sealed from the public?

Answer: the home is closed to the public

· To what extent should any furnishing recommendations consider interpretive realities? For instance, does MEMY have visitor numbers to help suggest a particular type of carpeting that will help with foot traffic through the home?

Answer: since the home remains closed to the public, we really don't have visitation data that can help answer this question. The plan is that once it's open to have no more than 60-80 people physically in the home per day.
