About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to solicitation number 140P4224Q0015 for A/V support services at the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. The services include quarterly maintenance visits as well as an initial functional check of all systems to be completed within 30 days of award. This functional check includes testing of all Ethernet cables and establishing a performance baseline, with annual cable testing required going forward. The maintenance window is preferred to be between 7-10am Monday through Friday, though full day scheduling is allowed if needed to complete the work. The lighting system uses Philips Iplayer 3 controllers. While the source code for Crestron or other equipment is not known to be in the park's possession, firmware updates are required for non-Crestron devices under the contract. The same technician may perform both lighting and Crestron work if properly credentialed.

Q6. In secon 5.1 the SOW states "The maintenance period on site shall be 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Monday-Friday for each trip. Extensions granted by the COR on a case-by-case basis." Can you please clarify? Does this mean you want the technicians to be there 5 days in a row from 7am to 10am? Not full 8 hour days?

A6. The 7-10 meframe would be the prefered me to have the work completed. If the servicing needs more than 3 hours to complete we would like to be able to schedule the full day’s work around our schedule. We could have up to 30 busloads of visitors there at one me. It would be tough to have the technicians working it that space at the same me.

Q7. Is the SOW asking for four service calls each year?

A7. Yes quarterly maintenance visits

Q8. The SOW states "Within 30 days of the post-award conference the contractor shall return to site and perform funcon checks on all systems. Funcon check shall include tesng of all ethernet cables.

Results shall be documented to establish a baseline. Annual tesng of ethernet cables is required."

Should the first service call (idenfied in 7.1) be priced as a separate visit, or should this be the first of the quarterly visits?

A8. Priced separately, due to any items that may be addressed during the first visit.
