QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1. Are there slopes with greater than 35% slope?

A1. Yes, there are some slopes greater than 35%.

A2. Yes, the BLM would like all steep slopes masticated. The intent is to treat as much of the project area as possible. A5. Yes, it can be left as part of the leave trees.

Q6. Can the two-track road, requested by the landowner to be left closed, be used?

A6. No. The BLM’s preference is to accommodate the landowner as much as possible and keep the road hidden or closed to prevent further use.
