Delivery - Is there a forklift for unloading? Would it be possible to do deliveries back to back for the locations? For example, drop all of the steel in Challis and then all of the steel in Salmon, then do a second delivery with all of the wood and screws in Challis and then a drop in Salmon. From a logistics standpoint this makes things easier but the timelies being spaced a year apart makes me question if this is viable.
Yes, a forklift is available at both locations. Alternative delivery schedule can be proposed by the vendor in your quote reference Combined synopsis paragraph (viii)Delivery Schedule.
Specific timelines can be coordinated with the government representative after the contract is awarded. Two separate deliveries in 2025 and 2026 is required.

I wanted to know a little more when it comes to the tax exemption. We are not tax exempt, so we would be paying the sales tax on the materials we purchase. That raises the question on my end, if we are selling to a tax exempt entity (government), are we obligated to pay the sales tax for this contract? I'm sure your department is not going to pay the sales tax if we have to, so I would have to build that into the overall bid on our end if we did have to absorb the sales tax with that burden being on us and not the government.
The Combined synopsis solicitation paragraph (xiii) /Special Contract requirements/State and local taxes exemption clause has details, the Contractor is responsible for determining the availability of state and local tax exemption and obtaining such exemptions, if available. You can reference Idaho State Tax Commission Form ST-101.
