Office of Subsistence Management U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 1011 E. Tudor Rd. MS 121 Anchorage, AK 99503

Background Statement: The Office of Subsistence Management (OSM) is responsible for implementing Title VIII of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA) through a fast-paced public regulatory process. Ten Regional Advisory Councils were established by ANILCA and charted under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). ANILCA implementation requires publicly held meetings for 10 Regional Advisory Councils held twice a year and multiple Federal Subsistence Board (Board) meetings held throughout the year. As a part of the public process, all meeting materials are required to be made available to the public, including the public with disabilities. To fulfill this requirement all meeting materials must be printed as hard copies and posted on the Federal Subsistence Management Program website. All documents posted on a Federal website must be compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Typically, meeting materials and meeting book production was done by OSM staff.
