Question and Answer Solicitation No. 140F0421Q0116 Amendment No. 2

1. On the second page under Building, number 2. a. of your "Quotes Mobile Home Specifications, you stated No. 1 ADA accessible - What specifically do you mean by "ADA" (The American With Disability Act)? When you say "All spaces within the mobile home shall be ADA accessible, can you be a little more specific?

All spaces within the manufactured home shall be ADA (American with Disabilities Act) accessible.

2. Exterior finish fiber cement siding -Will smart panel be acceptable?

Yes

3. The verbiage you are using is modular and manufactured. - Is this bid for a modular or a manufactured home?

Manufactured Home. The successful offeror shall be required to pre-manufacture the home, as specified herein and according to the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD Code).

4. Kitchen Sink - it says both Acrylic and Stainless steel -Which one do you mean?

Stainless Steel

5. Appliances - Is it possible to use a different brand of appliances?

Yes, but would like to stay with the same brand through the home.

6. The manufactured home shall meet the latest published editions of applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards and guidelines. At a minimum, the latest editions of the following apply:

· National Fire Codes (except NFPA 5000)

· Life Safety Code NFPA 101 (2012).

· International Building Code.

· Guidelines for Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities (AIA)

· Ambulatory Care (CAMAC)

· ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG)

· Report 147 by National Council on Radiation Protection and Measures.

7. Pre-Award Submittals: The Offeror shall submit with their quote sufficient documentation (i.e., floor plan with measurements, manufacturer spec/cut sheets with specific model information highlighted, manufacturer’s warranty information) regarding the proposed manufactured home for the Government to determine whether it meets these specification without further discussion. All submitted material shall be in English.

8. Delivery Submittals: The Contractor shall provide a minimum one copy (printed or electronic) of all available manufacturer documentation for operation and maintenance of the manufactured home and all installed appliances and construction materials, as well as all warranty and warranty registration documentation, and any required decals or other markings required for the equipment. Delivery shall not be considered complete until these items are received by the Project.

9. Site Setup: The Contractor is responsible for preparing site for new manufactured home placement after old mobile home is removed/disposed. The Government is responsible for cleaning up area after mobile home is removed. The contractor is responsible for preparing site and for set up.
