About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a federal design-build contract opportunity for replacement of wells and improvements at the Lahontan National Fish Hatchery in Nevada. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a firm fixed price contract for well replacement and control building upgrades between $1-5 million. The NAICS code is 237110 and small businesses under $39.5 million are eligible to submit proposals. Subcontractors must be listed in Phase I, and substitutions may be allowed after award at the discretion of the contracting officer. Responsibility for utility upgrades and charges will be determined in Phase II. A two-phase design-build evaluation process will be used, with recent experience and past performance evaluated in Phase I and technical approach in Phase II. Award is expected by August 1, 2021 for work through December 31, 2022. The opportunity is set aside for small businesses only.
