About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a generator replacement project at the Spring Creek National Fish Hatchery. The generator replacement project involves removing the existing generator and installing a new generator by the second week of August. Contractors must ensure backup power is provided to the hatchery until the first week of May, either by supplying their own backup generator or by renting the existing on-site rental generator. After the first week of May, outages will no longer affect hatchery operations. Contractors are responsible for disposing of the existing generator and should provide a credit in their quote for any value recovered from its disposal.

Answer: A contractor has confirmed there is enough room to fit through the doors.
Q2. Do we need to bring our own backup generator?

Answer:
We have been renting a generator as backup power for the hatchery. We have the generator delivered the second week of August and will return it after the first week of May.
