Statement of Work Bus & GSA parking ports & fencing

July 2023

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1.0 Background: Contractor to install bus and GSA parking shades to prevent from summer bright sunlight and cold winter temperatures.

2.0 Scope of Work:

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supplies to install requirements:

2.1 Install Rear Entrance Port:

a. Building entrance shading shall be 6’’ away from building.

b. Ground surface area: 10’6”x33”.

c. Install 4” 8 gauge metal posting with 8” height cement foundation.

d. Install “Gable” style 22ga metal roof.

2.2 Install bus & GSA parking ports

a. Bus port area: 80’L x 50’W x 14’H

b. GSA port area: 50’L x 25’ x 10’H

c. Install north entrance roofing extended 2’ “Shed” style slope

d. Install 4” 8 ga. Metal posting with 8” height cement foundation

e. Install siding and back with metal for sturdy of roof and frame

2.3 American with Disability Act (ADA) Compliance

3.0 General Requirements:

The contractor shall perform installation and provide entire materials and components.

3.1 The contractor shall execute work in a safe manner and shall not subject to personnel unsafe conditions. The contractor shall provide safety barricades, devices, and equipment to protect personnel and property.

3.2 The contractor shall take all precautions to protect the building and its occupants during the construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations.

3.3 The contractor shall dispose of materials removed to proper disposal site. The contractor shall adhere to all local requirement concerning removal, transporting and disposal of material.

3.4 Contractor shall keep the area neat and tidy and free of debris at the end of each workday.

3.5 The contractor shall provide ample temporary storage shed space for materials requiring shelter for security and safety protection. This will be arranged by the COR.

3.6 The contactor shall warranty work to be free of defects and workmanship for a period of 1 year.

3.7 The contractor shall under no circumstance incur any travel or other costs, or begins the work at the site until they receive approval from the CO..

4.0 Location: Red Rock Day School, Hwy 491 & Indian Route 13, Red Valley, AZ

5.0 Government Information:

The building and the surrounding site area will be occupied and school operations will continue on a normal operation during the duration of the contract. The contractor shall take all precautions to ensure that the operations are conducted in a manner so as not to interfere with the normal school operation.

6.0 Deliverables/Schedule:

The contractor shall notify the CO and COR prior to start of work. The contractor shall update progress of work throughout the service period.

6.1 Period of Performance: 45 days from Notice to Proceed; work hours will begin at 7:00 am.

Work to be performed in other than normal hours shall be approved by the COR.

6.2 Federal Holidays – Close campus

All federal holidays, see https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=Overview for an extensive list and dates. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If holiday falls on a Sunday, it is observed on Monday.

7.0 Security Requirements:

Contractor shall sign in and out on a daily basis at the school receptionist desk. Contractor shall wear badge.
