1. NIOSH N95 respirators come in folded or cupped. Is there a preference on your part?

Response - Specifications: Must be NIOSH approved/compliant, straps around the head, no one-way valve, seal around the mask edge, and flexible nose piece.

2. The one thing needing clarification is in 4.2.a. of the RFQ where it mentions "seal around mask edge" for the N95s. Please see if the BYD N95s would be acceptable, or if they're looking for a hard shell style mask with a seal around the edge (pricier). Ideally they're referring to NIOSH standards which require the masks to form a tight seal which the

BYDs do. Also important to note that the 3ply masks that are requesting have a high standard (99% BFE) so if any other quotes come in cheaper I doubt they are selling the correct product with this spec - we are though. Response - Specifications: Must be

NIOSH approved/compliant, straps around the head, no one-way valve, seal around the mask edge, and flexible nose piece.

3. The description of the gloves list both vinyl and nitrile. We can supply vinyl, nitrile or viny/nitrile blended gloves. Which ones do you prefer? Response - NITRILE

4. With regard to the home test kits, we can supply single or double test per kit. Which ones would you prefer? Response: Either is Acceptable. Must be FDA approved, at-home, self-administered test kit.

5. Could you please tell me how soon the 600K needs to be delivered? Does that mean they can take delivery within the 6 months or can we have deliveries spread over the 12 months as long as they deliver all before end of year? Or, are you asking for masks on an as-needed basis, and will place orders when they are necessary? Response. We will place orders when they are necessary by issuing a delivery order and of which will have the delivery time necessary to meet the need. The numbers are estimates only as indicated in the RFQ and the vendor’s should assume they will not get single order for all quantities at once. Future

6. Regarding accelerated payments, are you able to quantify this? Trying to be as competitive as possible, we are curious what that duration could look like. For example, once we deliver to a school and properly invoice, how long typically does it take to be paid under this clause? Response – The Government typically will pay invoiced request within 15 days after receipt of a proper invoice.
