REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT
Title: Near Infrared Spectrometer Requesting Lab: National Institute of Standards & Technology Physical Measurement Lab (NIST, PML), Applied Physics Division
BACKGROUND
NIST requires a near-infrared spectrometer to be used in a laboratory environment at ambient temperature and pressure. It will be placed on an optical table. The spectrometer will be used to measure the spectrum of light emitted from switching transistors from a variety of technology nodes. The goal is to understand the emitted light so it can be used for circuit evaluation and failure analysis. The mission of CHIPS is to develop metrology capabilities that advance the semiconductor industry. By measuring the faint, infrared emission from active transistors, NIST can better understand how this light can be used for circuit evaluation and failure analysis, and therefore develop the capability in service of the US semiconductor industry.
SCOPE:
The contractor shall deliver a quantity of one (1) spectrometer with free-space and fiber access, inclusive of warranty and FOB Destination Delivery terms.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The Contractor shall submit a firm fixed price quotation for each line-item, offering a system that meets all technical specifications identified below. All items must be new. Used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award. Experimental, prototype, or custom items will not be considered.
