Questions/Answers on the HVAC Solicitation 1331L519RP13OS0021:

1. Are there any mechanical drawings?

Yes, but not in electronic form. Vendor can access them when onsite.

2. Are there any reheat or Humidification requirements?

It is an Automated Data Processing (ADP) room, so the room must maintain relative humidity levels that are optimal for computer performance and reliability. Existing units have humidifiers.

Yes, if that is appropriate for the solution. There is a drop ceiling in the room.

4. Are we removing existing ceiling diffusers, duct, and installing replacement ceiling tiles?

The vendor is responsible for the installation of the HVAC units. If the installation requires the removal and/or movement of ceiling tiles then the vendor is responsible for making those adjustments.

5. The supplier is asking for the voltage and the heat strip you are looking for.

Please see mechanical drawing for details.

6. Is this RFQ solely for Liebert brand manufacturers and sales or can qualified small business contractors bid brand name HVAC equipment equal to or better than?
