RFI Answers
Questions
1. Oak Grove
a. What does “contract work area is fifty feet beyond building footprint in all directions” mean? Does this mean all improvements (concrete, asphalt, wood, etc..) within fifty feet of building shall be demolished as part of this contract?
i. The work area defines where the contractor is allowed to work.
However, not all improvements within the work area will be demolished. Only the items specified for demolition in the Contract shall be demolished.
b. Can the Forest Service provide details and reports of hazmat sampling?
i. Yes. The Forest Service will provide the results of hazmat sampling.

2. El Cariso Hot Shots
a. Was there a hazmat assessment completed for these structures?
i. No. The structure was built in 1994 and it is assumed that based on the date of construction, there will be no hazardous materials.
b. Are the driveways and sidewalks associated with the mobile homes supposed to be demolished as part of this contract?
i. No. Only the items specified in the Solicitation are to be demolished
(mobile home, porch, wood ramp, etc.).
3. Silverado
a. Was there a hazmat assessment completed for these structures?
i. No. The structure was built in 2002 and it is assumed that based on the date of construction, there will be no hazardous materials.
