About this file
This document contains a federal solicitation and related opportunity for fence reconstruction services on National Forest land damaged by wildfire. The solicitation requests bids to remove and replace 33.5 miles of pasture and allotment boundary fencing, repair 6.4 miles, and remove 6.1 miles of additional fencing across 13 grazing allotments within the Minidoka Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest in Idaho. The work includes removing all old fencing materials, clearing vegetation as needed, and constructing new four-strand barbed wire fences. The Forest Service will provide barbed wire and t-posts for reconstruction and all materials for repair work, while contractors must provide labor, expertise, and safety and quality control plans. Bids are due by 1:00pm local time on the specified date, with no extensions anticipated. Contractors must acknowledge any amendments prior to the deadline.
