A: No site visit planned/scheduled/conducted

2. Page 6 states “Nothing in this contract restricts the Government from performing any of the work with its own organization and workforce.” Does the Government anticipate that total acreage currently identified for contractor support will be reduced?

A: That generally refers to areas that would be too small (fractional acre) to be economically viable for issuing a task order

3. Were there any questions submitted by any other firms? If so, can they be supplied to offerors?

A: No, these are the first questions received.

4. Can the contractor store equipment onsite overnight and over weekends?

A: Yes, but at your own risk… areas will be designated for each task order

5. Can a contractor use track or wheeled equipment on all areas?

A: Refer to page 8… rubber tracks or wheels

6. Is it likely that weekend work would be allowed for mitigation of schedule risks (due to adverse weather, for example)?

A: Yes, weekend work will be allowed, but must be approved in advance.

7. Are there any restrictions on work dates due to the presence of RCW, or due to other influences such as hunting season, Migratory Bird Treaty Act?

A: Any such restrictions would be detailed in individual task orders based on location and season.

8. What species of vegetation are the focus of this work?

A: Dependent on location of individual task order, could be a mix of small trees and scrub bushes.

9. Is the work primarily mid-story or under story?

A: See page 8, primarily mid story.

10. Is the Contractor required to provide spotters or flaggers to secure the safety of the public during work?

A: It is possible that a task order could involve work near a roadway and would require spotters or flaggers. This would be detailed in individual task orders and need not be considered here.

11. What permits do you anticipate will be required?

A: The only anticipated requirement would be for transporting equipment.

12. In forestry work, there is typically not a warranty of services that applies. What will be covered by the warranty of services?

A: While this rarely becomes an issue, but provides authority for requiring rework of non-conforming services at no additional cost to the Government

13. Can fuel be stored on site during operations assuming the Offeror provides proper spill containment?

A: Yes, fuel may be stored on site will proper containment measures.
