About this file
This document is a Fire Plan form for a USDA Forest Service contract (1240BK25Q0080) for stocking surveys in the Umpqua National Forest's North Zone. The fire plan outlines critical safety protocols and responsibilities for fire prevention and suppression during contract work, requiring the contractor to take reasonable actions to prevent and suppress fires in the project area. The form includes sections for identifying key personnel, fire reporting contacts, employee firefighting qualifications, and vehicle descriptions, with provisions for joint preparation and acknowledgment by both the contractor and the Contracting Officer's Representative.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a small business set-aside solicitation for regeneration stocking exam field data collection, using Android tablets and GPS units to gather stocking level information on planted and natural conifer seedlings in fire-burned stands across the Diamond Lake and North Umpqua Ranger Districts. The NAICS code is 115310 with a small business size standard of $11.5 million. Interested contractors must submit a quote package including a Schedule of Items, written responses to evaluation criteria, and representations and certifications, with submissions due via email to paula.winningham@usda.gov.
