About this file
This document is a Buy American Certificate, which is a provision that certifies the country of origin for end products to be used in a federal contract opportunity.
The key details are:
- The offeror certifies that each end product is a domestic end product, except those listed as foreign end products.
- For foreign end products not made wholly or predominantly of iron/steel, the offeror must indicate if the domestic content exceeds 55%.
- The offeror must list the line items that contain a critical component.
- The government will evaluate offers based on the policies and procedures of FAR Part 25.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the purchase of two aerator units for the USDA Agricultural Research Service's National Poultry Research Center in Athens, GA. The agency intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quote meets the lowest price technically acceptable evaluation criteria, considering the brand name or equal provision and price. Quotes are due by July 3, 2024.
