• The schedule for this shows project start date 9/23/2025 and completion 9/30/2025. Is this still accurate and will the winning contractor be beholden to that schedule?
Response: No, the Period of Performance dates will have to be adjusted based on the date of award.
• Can you give me more information regarding the existing Phoenix control system?
What is the amount of devices that need to be integrated?
Response: The Phoenix Control System controls the lab portion of the building including chemical fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and HVAC systems.
The major systems controlled by the building management system include 2 HVAC Chillers systems , 3 HVAC Boiler Systems, 3 HCAV humidifier systems, 1 energy recovery system, 4 air evacuation systems, 12 chemical fume hoods with occupant sensors systems, 2 bio safety cabinets with VLC controllers, and 2 air handlers.
According to the current building management software device manager page, the total number of devices (motors, valves, controllers, thermostats, other sensors, etc.) that integrate into the system is 1037.
