Clarification whether or not seeding required. No permanent seeding is required. Obliterated roads are to be scarified 12" and left in a state ready to seed. Other graded surfaces are to be left loose to 1" depth and left in a state ready to seed. The Forest service will seed prepared surfaces after project completion. However, temporary seeding is required for erosion control where slopes are left unfinished more than 30 days (Section 023701 Part 3.1 D).

Section C Is construction water available from the creek? At this time, water may be obtained from the creek or from a pipe connection near the intersection of Duck Creek and Bird Creek Roads (the west end of Bird Creek Road.) Note that this is with approval already obtained by the District Ranger from the Kennecott Ranch who is the water right holder. The Forest Service cannot guarantee continuation of this generous service as it can be revoked at any time.
