About this file
This is an amendment to a solicitation for noxious and invasive weed survey and treatment services within two national forest areas in California. The amendment provides answers to questions from potential offerors, stating that forest roads may be plowed the week of May 8th to facilitate early access, though conditions will likely remain muddy, and pricing information from previous contracts cannot be disclosed. Offerors are responsible for developing their own independent pricing. The related solicitation seeks ground-based herbicide spraying, manual treatments, and weed surveys within Sierra County, California to be conducted by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. Attachments to the solicitation include the statement of work, wage determination, and maps further detailing the required products and services.

Answer 1: The roads leading into the project area are scheduled, but not guaranteed, to be plowed the week of May 8 to speed up snow melt on access roads, but conditions are muddy.
Contractors should proceed at their own risk.
Question 2: Is pricing from a previous vendor who performed these services available?
Answer 2: The Government cannot provide cost or pricing information to potential contractors. Developing a price is the responsibility of the bidding contractor.
