About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a Building Automation System (BAS) upgrade at the Yakama Indian Health Center in Toppenish, Washington. The project involves upgrading the existing obsolete Metasys version 5.2.0.5400 system from Johnson Controls to version 13.0 or newer, which includes replacing Network Automation Engines with Series of Network Engines (SNE), installing a new ADS workstation with Windows 10, and updating graphics, logic, and user interface tools. The work will be performed for the Indian Health Service to modernize the building's automation system, mitigate security risks, and improve operational efficiency.

Key technical requirements include providing a new workstation with UPS battery backup, installing SNE controllers, migrating existing database and data trends, configuring user profiles, and conducting point-to-point commissioning. The contractor will be responsible for on-site training, creating Operation and Maintenance manuals, and providing updated control system architecture drawings. The project must comply with specific codes including the 2011 National Electric Code, 2012 NFPA 101, and 2020 ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135, with careful attention to infection control and interim life safety measures during installation.
